Ingredients
- slice or cube 2 chicken breasts
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1/2 t white pepper
- 2 t mirin
- 1 t dark soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 egg
- 1/4 corn starch
Chicken Marinade:
- 2 T honey
- 2 T sriracha
- 1 T soy sauce
- dash of five spice
Honey Sriracha Sauce:
- 2 C day old rice
- 2 T oil
- 1 C green beans
- 1 C peas and carrots
- 1/3 C chopped red pepper
- 1/4-1/3 C green onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 eggs
Fried Rice:
Instructions
- add sesame oil, white pepper, mirin, soy sauce, garlic to chicken
- refrigerate for 2hours or overnight
- bring the chicken to room temp and add an egg
- mix and then add corn starch
Chicken Marinade:
- mix all ingredients together and set aside
Honey Sriracha Sauce:
- scramble 3 eggs and set aside
- heat wok or pan until it is hot and add oil. Let oil get hot and then stir fry chicken
- remove chicken and set aside
- If green beans are fresh add green beans and 1 C of water
- let beans simmer in water until it has evaporated
- add peas, carrots, red pepper and garlic
- add 1/4 of chicken stock or water and heat up rest of veggies
- add rice and break up clumps
- add sauce (Note if you want the sauce hotter or sweeter change the ratio of honey and sriracha)
- stir and then add chicken and green onions
- stir and remove from heat
- serve and enjoy!
